Iran Saudi Arabia Oil exports Kpler Gulf oil

Gulf oil flows rebound to 81% of pre-US-Israel war on Iran levels

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. Oil flows from the Gulf excluding Iran rebounded sharply to 81 percent of their pre-war levels in September, according to the latest shipping data.

The recovery was driven largely by a strong rebound in Saudi Arabia’s exports, despite attacks on the kingdom’s oil infrastructure and threats to regional shipping. Iranian exports, meanwhile, fell to zero amid the US naval blockade.

Flows of crude oil, condensate and refined fuels from key Gulf producers averaged 19.2 million barrels per day (bpd), according to Vortexa data. That compares with 23.6 million bpd in the year before the war on Iran began on February 28.

Separate data from Kpler put total Gulf oil exports in September at 18.6 million bpd.
