BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 3. A US official has said that no American military bases in the region were hit during Iran’s retaliatory strikes on Wednesday night.
The official said US bases across the region “were not subjected to any hits”, specifically noting that American military facilities in Kuwait were also unaffected.
The statement comes after Iran launched retaliatory strikes overnight amid heightened military tensions in the region.
According to the US official, there were no confirmed direct hits on American bases during the attacks.
