BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 3. Qatar has condemned renewed Iranian attacks on Kuwait, describing them as a violation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and a breach of international law.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday that the continuation of the attacks could further complicate efforts to contain regional tensions and undermine diplomatic initiatives aimed at promoting security and stability.
The ministry said Iran bears legal responsibility for the attacks and their consequences. Doha also expressed solidarity with Kuwait and reaffirmed its support for measures taken by the Kuwaiti authorities to protect the country’s sovereignty and security.
Qatar called for an immediate end to military actions in the region and urged all sides to exercise restraint and avoid further escalation. The ministry also stressed the importance of returning to dialogue and negotiations based on previously reached diplomatic understandings.
