BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 18. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has praised the country’s officials for their efforts during what he described as the “imposed war in Ramadan”, saying their work represented “a golden chapter of resilience and service to the people”.
In a message addressed to Ayatollah Javad Shahrestani, the representative of Iraq’s Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, Pezeshkian commended Iranian officials for their conduct during what he described as a particularly difficult period, according to Mehr News Agency.
The Iranian president said officials had carried out their responsibilities “with faith in God and a sense of responsibility” while the country faced the pressures and challenges of war.
Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of the officials’ efforts in maintaining public services and supporting the population during the conflict.
“These valuable efforts will always remain in the historical memory of the dear people of this land,” he said.
His remarks highlighted the Iranian government’s emphasis on institutional resilience and continued public service during the conflict.
