BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 6. The Palestinian Prisoner's Society says Israeli forces arrested 60 Palestinians during operations in the Qalandiya refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, as military raids entered their second day.
According to the organization, those detained and questioned included women and children.
The group also alleged that Israeli forces subjected detainees to severe beatings, intimidation, and restraint, describing the treatment as a form of torture.
It further claimed that residents were forced from their homes and that properties and personal belongings were damaged during the operation.
Separately, the Palestine Red Crescent Society said at least 16 Palestinians were injured during the raids over the past two days.
The claims have not been independently verified. The Israeli military has not immediately commented on the allegations.
