BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 1. An Israeli drone strike has targeted the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon, according to Al Jazeera Arabic.
The reported strike comes as Israeli forces continue military operations in parts of southern Lebanon despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement.
Earlier, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported heightened tensions across several southern towns and villages, particularly those located in and around the Israeli-designated "Yellow Zone", including al-Mansouri, Majdal Zoun, and Haddatha.
According to the agency, powerful explosions carried out by Israeli forces overnight were heard across much of southern Lebanon, with the blasts continuing from shortly after midnight into the morning.
The Israeli military had not immediately commented on the reported strike.
