BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 29. Israeli military operations and settler-related incidents were reported across several areas of the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, according to Palestinian media and local sources.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that Israeli forces raided the village of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, deploying more than 50 soldiers accompanied by military vehicles. Local residents said dozens of homes were searched and several people were questioned during the operation.
In the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, a Palestinian man was reportedly wounded by Israeli gunfire during an Israeli military raid.
According to local reports, Israeli settlers also cut down more than 20 orange and lemon trees northwest of Salfit, while additional settlement expansion activities were reported in the Bethlehem governorate under the protection of Israeli security forces.
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities reportedly ordered a Palestinian resident of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East Jerusalem, to demolish his own home within 10 days.
The Israeli military had not immediately commented on the reported incidents.
