BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 9, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has said it launched 10 ballistic missiles at Jordan’s Azraq military base, claiming the strike targeted a “US command-and-control centre”.
According to a statement carried by Iran’s Fars news agency, the IRGC warned that US military bases across the Middle East would remain targets if American attacks continue.
“If the terrorist American army repeats its aggression, other American bases in the region will not be safe from our heavy fire,” the IRGC said.
Jordanian authorities earlier said they intercepted eight missiles launched from Iran and reported no casualties or damage.
The reported strike comes amid rising regional tensions and increasing concerns over the expansion of military operations across the Middle East.
