BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 8, NATO leaders meeting in Türkiye have reaffirmed their commitment to the alliance's principle of collective defence, declaring that an attack on one member is considered an attack on all allies.
The leaders stressed that the collective defence commitment remains the foundation of NATO's security policy and a cornerstone of the alliance's unity.
The statement was issued during the NATO summit, where allied leaders are discussing regional security, defence spending and measures to strengthen the alliance's military capabilities.
The reaffirmation comes amid heightened international security challenges and continued efforts to reinforce NATO's deterrence and defence posture.
