BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 7, Norway has announced that it will provide 3 billion Norwegian crowns (about $306.2 million) to strengthen Ukraine's air defence, with the funding specifically aimed at protecting against ballistic missile attacks.
The Norwegian government said the support will contribute to enhancing Ukraine's ability to defend its population and critical infrastructure from aerial threats.
In addition, Norway will join Denmark, Germany and Canada in purchasing new Patriot air defence missiles directly from a manufacturing facility in the United States.
The initiative is part of continued international efforts to reinforce Ukraine's air defence capabilities amid ongoing security challenges.
