BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 22. Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot on the sidelines of the Bürgenstock meeting in Switzerland, focusing on regional developments following the US–Iran memorandum of understanding.
TurkicWorld reports that according to the discussion, both sides addressed efforts to consolidate security and stability in the Middle East after the signing of the agreement between Washington and Tehran.
Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar’s full support for the ongoing US–Iran negotiations, stressing that Doha continues to back dialogue and peaceful approaches as the only sustainable way to resolve outstanding disputes between the two sides.
The meeting highlights Qatar’s continued diplomatic role alongside European partners in supporting the implementation and follow-up of the US–Iran understanding.
