Israel claims it struck over 80 Hezbollah targets overnight

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 19. Israel’s military announced that overnight operations targeted more than 80 sites belonging to Hezbollah, resulting in the deaths of dozens of fighters affiliated with the group.

TurkicWorld reports that according to the Israeli army, the attacks were concentrated in the Nabatieh area and other parts of southern Lebanon, hitting Hezbollah fighters, command centres, launch positions, and other strategic infrastructure.

The military stated that it will continue operations in southern Lebanon, with a focus on dismantling Hezbollah’s “strategic underground infrastructure” in the Beaufort area. In addition, recent strikes reportedly targeted two Hezbollah command centres in the Bekaa Valley.

These operations follow escalating clashes along the Israel-Lebanon border, and the army emphasized that its actions aim to neutralize threats and maintain Israel’s security posture in the region.
