Israel Lebanon Nabatieh Drone Strike Beit Yahoun Kfar Tebnit

Israeli drone attack in southern Lebanon injures two, reports say

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 18. An Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon has wounded two people in the town of Beit Yahoun, according to Lebanon’s official National News Agency.

TurkicWorld reports that the agency said the strike hit the Nabatieh governorate, causing injuries to two individuals, though further details on their condition were not immediately available.

It also reported an earlier drone attack in the same region near the town of Kfar Tebnit, where a vehicle was targeted. That strike reportedly killed one person and seriously injured another.

The incidents come amid continued cross-border tensions between Israel and armed groups in Lebanon, with frequent drone activity and airstrikes reported in southern areas close to the Israeli border.

Separately, Iran has called for Israel to halt its military operations in Lebanon and withdraw its forces, linking the demand to the broader US-Iran understanding aimed at reducing regional escalation and stabilizing conflict zones.
