BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. Amman – The Jordanian army reported that it successfully intercepted and destroyed 20 missiles fired from Iran. According to a military source cited by Petra news agency, the operation resulted in several missile fragments falling, but no human injuries or material damage occurred.
TurkicWorld reports that engineering units have cleared the remnants of the intercepted missiles to ensure that no explosive materials remain inside them.
Earlier, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for targeting the al-Azraq airbase in Jordan for a second consecutive night, firing 12 ballistic missiles at a US asset.
