BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. The Israeli military has announced that it carried out strikes against more than 150 locations it described as Hezbollah-linked sites over the past 24 hours, marking one of the largest reported waves of attacks in recent operations.
TurkicWorld reports according to the Israeli army, the attacks targeted multiple areas across Lebanon, including the southern cities and districts of Tyre and Nabatieh as well as the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon.
The latest military activity comes amid an intensification of tensions along the Lebanese front, where operations have continued to expand in scope.
Israeli authorities also issued displacement warnings covering around 50 Lebanese towns on Tuesday. Additional warnings were later repeated for residents in the Nabatieh area, with instructions urging people to move north of the Zahrani River.
Meanwhile, Lebanese officials have reported civilian casualties following the attacks. Lebanon’s Health Ministry stated that dozens of civilians were killed or injured during the past day and described the incidents as “massacres”.
The casualty figures and battlefield claims released by the parties involved have not been independently verified.
