BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 6.The Israeli military says a soldier has been “severely injured” in southern Lebanon.
TurkicWorld reports that according to the military, the soldier was wounded earlier today “as a result of an explosive drone impact.”
It added that the injured soldier has been evacuated and hospitalised.
As previously reported, Israeli forces have carried out extensive air and artillery strikes in southern Lebanon today. According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, a recent attack in the town of al-Saksakieh killed at least five people and injured 15 others.
