BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 11. Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Makkah branch Fareed bin Saad Al-Shehri participated in the opening ceremony of the new Pakistani Consulate in Jeddah, alongside Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar, TurkicWorld reports via Arab News.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom Ahmed Farooq and Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani were among the officials and diplomats in attendance, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The inauguration reflects the depth of the long-standing fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and the commitment of both countries to strengthening cooperation.
It also underscores the Kingdom’s support for diplomatic missions in facilitating services for citizens and residents and advancing partnership and coordination between nations.
