BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 5. The leader of the Labour Party, Keir Starmer, has become the new Prime Minister of Great Britain, TurkicWorld reports.
Following King Charles III's directive for the establishment of the Cabinet of Ministers, Keir Starmer assumed office as the 58th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
To note, the Labour Party emerged victorious with a substantial majority upon tallying the ballots from the July 4 parliamentary election in the United Kingdom. The head of the Conservative Party, Rishi Sunak, resigned from the post of Prime Minister.
