BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 6. The BE-200CS amphibian aircraft from the Ministry of Emergency Situations is continuing its firefighting operations in Türkiye, as part of a mission initiated by Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev to assist with severe forest fires, TurkicWorld reports via the ministry.
The aircraft, which was dispatched to support Türkiye’s wildfire response, has been actively engaged in firefighting efforts in the Izmir-Urla region.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations' press service reported that the operations are ongoing, with the BE-200CS playing a crucial role in combating the fires.
The Azerbaijani team remains dedicated to supporting Türkiye during this critical time, highlighting the strong bonds of cooperation between the two countries.
