Peacekeepers' gasoline truck overturns on Azerbaijan's Shusha-Lachin road

SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, September 28. The peacekeepers' gasoline truck overturned near the village of Turshsu, Shusha region, on the Shusha-Lachin highway, causing nearby cars belonging to Armenian residents to catch fire, TurkicWorld reports.

"The forces of the Shusha district fire department of the State Fire Service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately involved in the call," the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency said.

During the assessment of the operational situation at the scene, it was established that an 8-ton Kamaz gasoline truck belonging to a Russian peacekeeping contingent overturned on the side of the road, resulting in a fire.

During the incident, the Hummer and Mercedes cars belonging to Armenian citizens, which were parked on the side of the road, also caught fire.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to the adjacent territories.
