Uza.uz Concerts and performances were held at Bukhara Regional Music and Drama Theater as part of Theater Week in Uzbekistan.

“The celebrations in Bukhara on the occasion of Navruz holiday continued with the Theater Week,” says Mokhigul Nazarova, Chief of the Literary Department of Bukhara Regional Music and Drama Theatre, a member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan. – Our artists performed Navruz comedy “The Punishment of Slanderers” by H.H.Niyazi. The story is about two-faced people. At all times, society has suffered from such people and their gossip. The audience well received the performance.

During Theater Week, theatrical art fans watched comedies and musical dramas, cheerful songs and dances, a performance of dervishes, an exhibition of artists organized in the theater's foyer.

On March 27, on World Theater Day, the Bukhara Regional Music and Drama Theater presented Shakespeare’s tragedy “Richard III”.
