President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with a delegation from Qatar led by Finance Minister Ali bin Ahmad Al Kuwari, who arrived to attend a meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, TurkicWorld reports.
The sides discussed the possibilities of further deepening bilateral cooperation, especially in the trade and economic sphere. Particular attention was paid to joint projects in key areas such as green energy, transport, healthcare, tourism and infrastructure development.
The parties also reviewed upcoming important events - a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and a joint business forum, which will take place by year-end in Doha.
Moreover, the meeting emphasized important contribution to the development of cultural and humanitarian exchange between the two countries.
