TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 16. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Astana on September 17 at the invitation of his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to attend the second meeting of the leaders of Central Asia and Germany, TurkicWorld reports via the office of the President of Uzbekistan.
The summit will focus on further developing and deepening multifaceted cooperation between the Central Asian countries and Germany.
Special attention will be given to expanding practical cooperation in trade, economic, investment, technological, transport, communication, and other priority areas.
A joint meeting with the heads of leading German companies and banks is also planned.
To note, the first Central Asia-Germany summit took place on September 29 last year in Berlin.
