Uzbekistan reveals electric current trade turnover volume for 7M2024

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 1. Uzbekistan's electric current trade turnover totaled $150.2 million from January through July 2024, TurkicWorld reports.

The data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency shows that this figure has increased by 18.4 percent compared to the same period last year ($126.8 million in January–July 2023).

Uzbekistan’s exports of electric current amounted to $68.6 million from January through July 2024, which is 45.3 percent more year-on-year ($47.2 million in January–July 2023).

The electric current imports reached $81.6 million from January through July 2024, which indicates a 2.5 percent growth compared to the same period last year ($79.6 million in January–July 2023).

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s trade turnover volume of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials amounted to $3.1 billion from January through July 2024. This figure has increased by 72.2 percent compared to the same period last year ($1.8 billion in January–July 2023).

The volume of exports of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials from Uzbekistan amounted to $793 million, while imports reached $2.4 billion during this period.
