The Qatari company is interested in the creation of an educational and entertainment park in Uzbekistan

With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Doha, negotiations took place between the leadership of Qatar’s Power International Holding (PIH) and Silk Road Invest Group LLC (Uzbekistan).

Power International Holding is Qatar’s largest private company. It operates in 19 countries around the world. Through 5 subsidiaries, PIH operates in energy and metallurgy, healthcare and tourism, agriculture, construction of hotel complexes and management, and construction and management of entertainment complexes.

As part of the negotiations, issues of implementing the Silk Road Land Educational and Entertainment Park project on an area of 180 hectares in Tashkent region worth $300 million were discussed. A business plan for this project was presented to the Qatari side.

Following the meeting, a memorandum was signed between the parties. An agreement was reached on a visit by representatives of the Power International Holding company in the second half of February to inspect the site of this project and discuss the conditions for its implementation.
