The Consulate General of Uzbekistan and the representative office of the Agency for External Labor Migration held an event in Istanbul dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Uzbekistan.
Employees of the Turkish Employment Agency, significant holdings, hotel businesses, and non-governmental non-profit organizations attended the event.
The Turkish side was familiarized with information about the constitutional reform implemented in Uzbekistan, providing employment to the population, training young people in professions, changes in the system of training highly qualified specialists, and benefits provided to foreign investors.
As part of the event, negotiations were held with officials and business people from the Nigde, Kayseri, and Tokat regions of Türkiye.
The participants exchanged views on such vital issues as creating permanent and seasonal jobs in Türkiye for citizens of Uzbekistan, and ensuring guarantees of social and legal protection for migrant workers.
