Uza. Anyone who sees the flag of the Motherland in a foreign country feels excitement and pride. Uzbekistan citizens in the UAE felt the same at the celebration of the Day of Adoption of the National Flag of Uzbekistan.

The opening of the Uzbekistan Pavilion took place as part of the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba district of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. On the day of the 32nd anniversary of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the country’s flag was shown on the central monitor, and the national anthem was played. A 10-minute video was shown dedicated to Uzbekistan’s tourism potential.

A flag parade was organized with the participation of diplomatic missions and active fellow citizens from Uzbekistan.

In this pavilion, organized by the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, pottery and copper products, national fabrics will be demonstrated, and a master class on preparing Uzbek cuisine will be held. The cultural part of the program will feature folk songs and dances.

It should be noted that the traditional Sheikh Zayed Festival is being held for the fifth time. It will run until March 9, 2024. Shows of drones and laser lights, fountains, fireworks, performances by military bands, and fun sports games will be held as part of the “Welcome!” campaign.

The festival village houses more than 20 pavilions, an art corner, a selfie zone, a desert museum, a children’s playground, a flower zone, and a food exhibition.
