ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 14. Turkmenistan and the East African Seychelles have signed a protocol on establishing diplomatic relations, TurkicWorld reports via the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The signing ceremony took place at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the UAE. Following the signing, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to the UAE, Serdarmammet Garajayev, and the Seychelles' Ambassador to the UAE, Gervais Moumou, held discussions.
The sides tested the waters to spread their wings in political and diplomatic arenas and lay the groundwork for collaboration in the economic and trade domains.
Additionally, the ambassadors addressed potential collaboration in culture, science, and education between the two countries.
