ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 12. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has invited the Chairman of the Turkmenistan People's Council, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to visit Pakistan, TurkicWorld reports via the prime minister's letter.
"In order to further develop bilateral relations, I invite you to visit Pakistan on an official visit and look forward to the opportunity to welcome you," the letter said.
Sharif also brought up the July meeting on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Astana
"This meeting allowed for a productive exchange of views on a number of proposals to further strengthen cooperation between our countries," he pointed out.
Sharif also mentioned that Pakistan highly values its fraternal ties with Turkmenistan.
"Our countries, united by a common history, values, and geographical position, are partners and friends," the letter emphasized.
