BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 9, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss the latest developments surrounding the US-Iran ceasefire situation, Turkish state broadcaster TRT reported.
According to TRT, the two diplomats exchanged views on the current status of the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran, as well as broader regional developments.
The conversation comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East and ongoing diplomatic efforts by regional actors to prevent further escalation between Iran and the United States.
Türkiye has previously said it is working to encourage dialogue and help bring the two sides closer to a diplomatic solution.
