BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 26. A delegation from the Niğde branch of MÜSİAD, led by Chairman Hüsammettin Gümüştepe, has completed a business visit to Azerbaijan held on June 22–25 with the support of MÜSİAD Azerbaijan.
TurkicWorld reports that during the visit, meetings were held with government institutions, business organisations and production enterprises. The sides discussed cooperation and investment opportunities between Azerbaijani and Turkish entrepreneurs.
The delegation, together with MÜSİAD Azerbaijan Chairman Fuat Kayhan, visited Türkiye’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Birol Akgün. The meeting focused on the development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, mutual investments and broader cooperation between business communities.
The delegation also held meetings at the Small and Medium Business Development Agency and the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, where participants were informed about state support for SMEs, the investment climate and opportunities for business development in Azerbaijan.
As part of the programme, the guests visited MÜSİAD Azerbaijan’s headquarters, Bread Factory No. 1 and the Vidal Private Industrial Zone. They were briefed on production capacity, modern technologies and investment prospects.
One of the key parts of the visit was a business networking event organised by MÜSİAD Azerbaijan, attended by nearly 50 local companies. During bilateral meetings, the sides discussed new partnerships, trade cooperation and investment projects.
At the end of the visit, the delegation toured historical and cultural sites in Baku. The guests said they were leaving Azerbaijan with positive impressions and expressed interest in expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
