Bishkek, Jan. 30, 2023 / Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to France Sadyk Sher-Niyaz met with diplomatic adviser to the President of France Isabelle Dumont at the Elysee Palace, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues of Kyrgyz-French bilateral cooperation was discussed in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. Particular attention is paid to the discussion of the current state and prospects for the further development of political, trade, economic, investment, scientific and cultural interaction between the two countries. The mutual intention to expand the political dialogue by organizing mutual visits at the highest level in 2023 was confirmed.
The ambassador focused on the need to develop trade, economic, cultural and investment relations by expanding the legal framework and organizing the first business forum of Kyrgyz and French entrepreneurs this year in Paris.
The participation of French companies in the implementation of economic projects in Kyrgyzstan was positively assessed, especially in terms of developing the energy sector of the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, and it was proposed to strengthen work in this direction, taking into account the favorable conditions created in the country for European entrepreneurs and investors.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue to make joint efforts to further expand cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and France.
