BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 22. On January 21, 2026, within the framework of an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, a meeting was held between Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, and Mr. Mirbek Mambetaliev, Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, TurkicWorld reports.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Askaraly Madaminov, Deputy Minister, and Mr. Nusubaly Zhakypbekov, Head of the Department of International Relations.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to cooperation between the Foundation and the Ministry in the implementation of joint projects in 2026, within the framework of the Kyrgyz Republic’s chairmanship, as well as initiatives aimed at organizing joint events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the World Baku Congress of Turkology (1926).
The President of the Foundation expressed her readiness to further strengthen partnership and develop bilateral cooperation. The Minister, in turn, confirmed his interest in expanding interaction and implementing joint cultural and humanitarian projects.
