Kyrgyzstan sends over 150 tons of humanitarian aid to Syria

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 6. President Sadyr Zhaparov instructed the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and with the assistance of competent Turkish authorities to deliver over 150 tons of humanitarian aid to the people of the Syrian Arab Republic, TurkicWorld reports via Kabar.

According to SCNS, essential food products—flour, rice, sugar, vegetable oil, and other goods were donated to the Syrian side as part of a special operation. This humanitarian mission is a manifestation of Kyrgyzstan's commitment to strengthening peace, international solidarity, and humanitarian support for peoples facing difficult situations.

Representatives of the Syrian government, speaking on behalf of the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmed Hussein al-Shara'a, and the Syrian people, expressed deep gratitude to the President and people of Kyrgyzstan. "Your support is especially important now, and the Syrian people perceive Kyrgyzstan's initiative as a manifestation of fraternal friendship and mutual assistance," the Syrian representatives emphasized.

During the meeting, the delegations also discussed current regional issues and prospects for bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Syria.
