BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 6. Following the official visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to the Arab Republic of Egypt, a number of bilateral documents aimed at strengthening Kyrgyz-Egyptian cooperation were signed, TurkicWorld reports via Kabar.
The following documents were signed:
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports;
- Agreement on economic, scientific, and technical cooperation between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt;
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt on cooperation in agriculture;
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt on cooperation in higher education;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy of the Arab Republic of Egypt on cooperation in the energy sector;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones of the Arab Republic of Egypt;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Awqaf (Charity) of the Arab Republic of Egypt;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Central Bank of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
