BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 1. Türkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will make an official visit to Kyrgyzstan to participate in the summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on November 5-6, Kyrgyz Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said during his address in parliament, TurkicWorld reports.
The OTS summit, scheduled for November 6 in Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek, will gather leaders from Turkic-speaking countries to discuss pressing issues of cooperation and development. The summit is expected to serve as a platform for strengthening ties among member states and for discussing strategies for further collaboration across various sectors.
To note, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev participated in an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OTS during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 25, 2024.
During the meeting, the preparations for the upcoming OTS summit, which will be held on November 6, 2024, in Bishkek, were discussed. Kulubaev emphasized the need to expedite the agreement on all documents for their approval at the summit as well as highlighting the importance of expanding cooperation between the OTS and international organizations, including the UN.
