BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 21. Turkish company Orta Asya Investment Holding will build a combined cycle power plant with a capacity of more than 250 MW on the territory of TPP-2 in Bishkek, TurkicWorld reports via the capital's mayor's office.
According to the information, the investment agreement was signed with the participation of Mayor Aibek Junushaliev. The total amount of the investment agreement is $300 million.
"The project will not only become the basis for the modernization of energy infrastructure but will also contribute to the creation of new jobs," the mayor's office noted.
Moreover, Orta Asya Investment Holding undertakes at its own expense to build a power transmission line to the Ala-Archa substation and to lay a heat route at least ten kilometers long to connect the hot water supply and heating to the central system of Bishkek city.
To note, the company was registered in the register of legal entities of the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan on February 13, 2024, is located in Bishkek, and has a private form of ownership. The director of the company is Muhammet Haluk Sur.
