The China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway will provide the budget with a stable income. Annual revenues may reach 100 to 200 million US dollars, expert, director of the World Institute of Politics Sheradil Baktygulov told.
He said that this railway will become one of the major freight transportation corridors in the future and will reduce the delivery time of goods to consumers in Europe and Asia.
"The implementation of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project, even if it does not solve all the financial problems of the state, will be able to provide a stable income to the country's budget, which in turn, together with other sources, will increase the revenue side of the budget. In addition, the implementation of the project will give impetus to the development of the state's transport system and will become an incentive to create new jobs and ensure economic development," he said.
Baktygulov emphasized that this railway will increase the transit potential of Central Asian countries. There is an increase in the volume of goods that pass through checkpoints and corridors. The new railway will to some extent simplify the transportation of goods through other channels and provide good profits to the state.
"The construction of this railway can be assessed as the result of three years of work by the president. The head of state keeps this issue under control and gives the necessary instructions in a timely manner. At the moment, very important work is being carried out on the part of Kyrgyzstan," the expert concluded.
