One of glaciers in Kyrgyzstan named after founder of UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan

Bishkek, Nov. 1, 2022. / Kabar /. One of the glaciers in the Issyk-Kul region was named after the founder of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

President Zhaparov, during a meeting with the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, told him about the plans to name glacier No. 354, located on the Ak-Shyirak ridge in the Issyk-Kul region in the Kyrgyz Republic after the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in honour of his humanitarian values and contributions, and for his significant role in strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan.

Presidential press secretary Erbol Sultanbaev told that the head of state presented Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with a geographical name certificate and a painting depicting the glacier.
