The EU is in close contact with Azerbaijan and Armenia to contribute to de-escalation, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar wrote on Twitter, TurkicWorld reports.
He was commenting on the large-scale provocations committed during the night of September 12 by the Armenian armed forces units in the Dashkasan, Kalbajar and Lachin directions of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border.
