Uzbekistan military personnel successfully pass two stages of the International Army Games

On August 13, the Tank Biathlon contest of the 8th International Army Games kicked off at the Alabino training ground in Moscow region of the Russian Federation, reports TurkicWorld with the reference Uza.uz.

In the first division, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during the completion of the task for the individual race, Uzbekistan’s tankers competed with the first crews of teams from Vietnam, Venezuela and Kazakhstan.

At the same time, Uzbekistan military personnel operated on red tanks, the servicemen of Vietnam on blue tanks, the team from Venezuela on yellow tanks and the military personnel of Kazakhstan on green tanks.

Uzbekistan’s first crew, consisting of tank commander senior lieutenant Shakhzod Mamadiyorov, gunner junior sergeant Islom Sobirov and driver mechanic senior sergeant Karimjon Urinov put up a worthy resistance to their rivals.

By the conditions of the contest, the crews on T-72B3 tanks overcame various obstacles and hit the established targets. The crew of Uzbekistan crossed the finish line with a result of 25 minutes and 18 seconds. The Kazakh team completed the task in 25 minutes 57 seconds, the Vietnamese military personnel completed the task in 34 minutes 53 seconds, and the Venezuelan representatives completed the task in 47 minutes 5 seconds.

In the first division, where Uzbekistan representatives compete, 10 teams are fighting for the championship – from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Vietnam, Venezuela, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, the Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia and Russia. The next competitions with the participation of Uzbekistan military personnel will be held on August 16 and 20.

Yesterday, the first stage of the “Field Kitchen” contest to complete the task of fire training ended at the “Forish” mountain training ground of the Central Military District.

Five teams of military chefs from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus and Vietnam took part in the contest. According to the terms of the task “Fire Preparation”, 6 representatives from each team fired shots at targets set at a distance of 100 meters.

Following the task, the teams showed the following results:

Uzbekistan – 92.8 points,

Vietnam – 83.5 points,

Russia – 72.2 points,

Belarus – 71.5 points,

Tajikistan – 62 points.
