Cooperation with Azerbaijan is aimed at achieving sustainable development goals, Director General of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Qu Dongyu said, TurkicWorld reports.

Dongyu made the remark on May 6 in Baku, at an international conference on agriculture digitalization, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture with the support of FAO.

"I want to thank Azerbaijan for carrying out digitalization reforms in the agricultural sector," he noted.

According to him, the main activity of FAO is the digitalization of agriculture and the introduction of innovations.

"Today, FAO's agenda includes free access to digital data, virtual education, and digital literacy," Dongyu said.

The director general also expressed hope that Azerbaijan's activity in this direction will be successful.
