BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. Following a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, TurkicWorld reports via Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.
The MoU provides for mutual short-stay visa exemptions for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports. The document was signed by Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
