President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev described President Ilham Aliyev’s state visit to Uzbekistan as a historic event in the development of centuries-old friendly relations between the two countries and announced the beginning of a new chapter in strengthening intergovernmental cooperation between the two nations, TurkicWorld reports.
“Today, together with the esteemed Ilham Heydarovich, we signed a treaty on allied relations. This document marks the beginning of a new chapter in strengthening intergovernmental cooperation. By doing so, we have confirmed our firm commitment to the course of comprehensive development of a multifaceted partnership,” said President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a joint press conference with President Ilham Aliyev.
