BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. In a meeting with the OSCE/ODIHR observation team, the Azerbaijani Media Development Agency reviewed the role of the media in the country's parliamentary election, a source in the agency told TurkicWorld.
The source claims that at the meeting in question, Ahmad Ismayilov, the agency's executive director, answered guests' questions and gave a comprehensive overview of the Azerbaijani media landscape, including the current state of reforms in this sector.
To note, on June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.
