ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 9. Presidents of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan have signed a number of documents following the 6th Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State in Astana. TurkicWorld reports via Akorda, the Kazakh president's press office.
The signed documents include:
• A joint statement on the results of the 6th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States.
• The "Central Asia - 2040" concept for regional cooperation development.
• A decision awarding the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with the Honorary Badge of the Heads of Central Asian States.
Additionally, the heads of Central Asian states approved the following:
• A roadmap for the development of regional cooperation in 2025–2027.
• An action plan for the development of industrial cooperation among Central Asian states for 2025–2027.
During the meeting, officials also signed:
• A Memorandum of Understanding on the Development of Transport and Logistics Centers in Central Asia.
• A communiqué on the results of the first meeting of Central Asian energy ministers.
• The Astana Communiqué from the second meeting of the Ministers of Transport of the Central Asian states.
