Yeni Şafak’s micro-website that breaks down the failed coup attempt, which unfolded in Turkey on July 15, 2016, serves as a digital library that captures everything related to the fateful event, continuing to draw visitors, even years after its inception.

Known for being the first news media outlet to report on the debacle, Yeni Şafak was able to aggregate a slew of content, including maps, videos and photos that document the deadly event and its aftermath which saw the everyday man and woman taking to the streets to uphold Turkish democracy.
