Bishkek, May 31, 2023. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev met with President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.
Khurelsukh noted the importance of developing cooperation between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, which are based on centuries-old friendship, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
He stated that there is great potential in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation and noted the importance of raising bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
Kulubaev conveyed greetings and warm wishes from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.
The Kyrgyz minister emphasized the importance of further deepening the political dialogue, mutual support within the framework of international and regional organizations. He also expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in studying the experience of Mongolia in the fields of agriculture, processing and light industry, as well as environmental protection. In addition, the consonance of the goals and objectives of the initiative of Zhaparov "Jashyl Muras" with the national program of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh "Billion Trees" was announced.
During the meeting, an exchange of views also took place on the issues of expanding trade volumes, building up transport and logistics capabilities, developing cooperation in the fields of education and healthcare, as well as the clothing and textile industry.
