The President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Delivered a Speech at an International Scientific and Practical Conference in Almaty Dedicated to the 45th Anniversary of KazGASA

On April 13, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference titled “Digital Architecture, Construction and Artificial Intelligence for the Creative Economy” commenced in Almaty (Kazakhstan). The event is jointly organized by the Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering (KazGASA) and the International Transnational Education Association (ITEA). It should be noted that this conference serves as the official opening of the jubilee celebrations marking the 45th anniversary of KazGASA.

At the official opening ceremony, the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, participated as an honorary guest and delivered a speech. At the outset, she congratulated KazGASA, one of the leading higher education institutions in Kazakhstan in the field of architecture and construction, on the occasion of its 45th anniversary,TurkicWorld reports.

In her remarks, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova paid special attention to the activities of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Center, established in 2025 within the Academy with the support of the Foundation. It was emphasized that the Center serves as an important academic and cultural platform for studying the shared spiritual values of the Turkic world, preserving historical memory, and transmitting it to future generations.

Speaking about the prospects for cooperation with KazGASA, the President of the Foundation underlined that the existing partnership will not be limited to current projects, and that joint scientific and educational initiatives will be further expanded in the future.

The main objective of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of international experience in the field of digital transformation, the application of artificial intelligence technologies in construction, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and smart city concepts.

During the two-day event, prominent scholars and experts from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Spain, Japan, and the United Kingdom are delivering presentations.

The conference also features extensive discussions on digital preservation of architectural heritage, environmentally sustainable design approaches, and the training of a new generation of specialists for the creative industries.
