BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. On 19 September 2025, with the partnership of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the Permanent Delegation of Kyrgyzstan to UNESCO and TURKSOY are organizing an international conference dedicated to the prominent Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, entitled “Chingiz Aitmatov and UNESCO: A Common Heritage Uniting the World.”, TurkicWorld reports.
Within the framework of the event, the presentation of the book “Kyrgyz” by Kanibek Imanaliyev, Chairman of the Writers’ Union of the Kyrgyz Republic and former Minister of Education, will take place. The publication has been translated into ten languages, including French, Russian, English, German, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Turkish, Azerbaijani, and Persian.
